Review of HTC EVO 4G
My first review is going to be of my new phone the HTC EVO 4G from Sprint. This is my first Android phone. The first thing you notice is that the box looks like a Ramen Noodles package but that does not really bother me. Compared to my last phone's box the Samsung Instinct came in this nice black box. I think it is not about the box but what came in the box. Which is amazing with a 4.3" screen, 1.3MP front facing camera, 8MP camera and shoots 720p video with a dual flash that can be used as a flashlight, there is a micro hdmi port to hook up to a HDTV to view your pictures and videos and there is a built in kickstand to watch Sprint TV or other videos. The phone comes in white and a black version I prefer the black one. I find texting to be really easy and fast on the EVO with the vibrant touchscreen the one problem I found with the screen is that you can't use gloves with it but most of the time that is not a problem. I wish the charging cord would have been a bit longer. The battery life for me varies between 8-16hrs it gets me through the day. I am not crazy that the camera protrudes out from the phone to be more vulnerable to scratching. I do suggest a case soon the one that I ordered will be here and I will try the case out and will let you know what I think of it. Even on 3G the phone is super fast. I know there is no date on when Detroit will get 4G but I have heard it may be in the first quarter of 2011. If I lost my phone today I would buy the HTC EVO again. There will be more reviews to come. http://shop.sprint.com/NASApp/onlinestore/en/Action/DisplayPhones?INTNAV=ATG:HE:Phones
